Taxis and Private Hire Cars
The following local taxi firms offer services around Silsden, Cringles and Ilkley:
Buses
The 62 bus passes by Cringles House and can take you into Addingham and Ilkley. Tickets can be purchased from the driver.
Trains
The nearest train stations are:
- Silsden/Steeton (2 miles) – a small station, with parking, on the Airedale line.
- Skipton (5 miles) – a larger station, which is useful for getting into the Yorkshire Dales, and can be used for accessing the stunning Settle-Carlisle journey.
- Ilkley – on the Wharfedale line and useful for getting into Leeds with regular services (30 min in the day and hourly in the evening).
